The Communication Application Of A Computer Network

Communication Application Of A Computer Network

What is the purpose of the communication application of a computer network? How do communication applications work with computer networks? These are some of the things that we will discuss.

What Does Communication Application Of A Computer Network Mean?

The communication application of a computer network refers to how computer networks are used to communicate. Computer networks are used to connect different computers and people.

So this is one of the main purposes of a computer network. They are used in all aspects of communication, including telecommunications, broadcasting, and publishing.

What Do Communication Applications Do?

A communication application layer is what makes computer networks useful for communication. Organizations use them to send information to each other.

So this information could be verbal or non-verbal. Because it is the easiest way to send data from one location to another, these applications are used for mass communication.

What Are The Most Commonly Used Communication Applications?

The most commonly used communication applications include:

Email (Electronic Mail):

So this is a form of electronic messaging using computers that can be sent almost instantly over a network. It allows computers (and people) to talk with each other.

It is one of the most commonly used methods of communication today and includes social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.

Facsimile (Fax):

It is a method that sends images over telephone lines or through radio waves. In some cases, it can even send sound recordings as well as text messages.

It works by taking an image and sending it over a transmission line to another receiving device. That will then turn it back into an image on paper via a printer or display screen.

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP):

So this is when voice communications are transferred over the Internet instead of the traditional phone system. So this methodology transfers voice data in digital form.

It’s making VoIP much cheaper than traditional methods of transferring voice communications. Like telephone calls and even mobile phone services.

Video Conferencing:

So this is the ability of two or more parties to communicate with each other using video equipment. That can be connected via the Internet or other telecommunications networks like mobile phones or cable television services.

It allows for face-to-face meetings without actually having to be in the same place as each other.

Radio Broadcasting:

So this is a process where information can be sent from one place to many recipients at once using radio transmitters. Also, receivers and antennae from different locations around the world through airwaves.

Instead of just lines or cables to send information around the world at any given time. So by only using radio waves instead of wires that run through ground lines and cables that can only transmit data in a single direction.

Broadcasting is one of the oldest methods of mass communication. And it can be used to share information quickly and easily.

So this allows people to get information at any time and in any place. Also, because it can be broadcasted all around the world, it is almost instantaneous.
